By Peggy Kerr Three blessings in the form of newborn babies arrived the first week of 2023 for three Deer Lodge families. The first baby of the year is William Theodor Clementine Evans, son of Chelsea Sarah Evans. He came into this world in Helena on Tuesday, Jan. 3, weighing in at 7 lbs, 12 oz and measuring 20.5 inches. “Giving birth was the most intense experience I have ever had in my life, but it was all worth it because I have a beautiful baby boy,” Chelsea Sarah said William’s grandparents are Chelsea Dawn and Olli Peltokangas of Deer Lodge and Finland. The next on the list is Paul Warner Misanko, born in Missoula on Thursday, Jan. 5, weighing 3 lbs, 14 oz and measuring 16.25 inches. Though tiny, his grandmother, Katherine Bair, said he is alert. Paul’s parents are Stefan and Melinda Misanko of Deer Lodge. His grandparents are Melvin and Paulette Misanko of Fredricksberg, Texas, and Warner snd Katherine Bair of Deer Lodge. Also born Jan. 5 is Edward James Lombard, born in Anaconda, weighing 6 lbs, 4 oz and measuring 18 inches. His parents are Brea Coffey and Cody Lombard of Deer Lodge, and he has two siblings: sister, Khaleesi Osmundson, and brother, Mason Lombard. Also welcoming Edward are his grandmothers, Bobbie Savage of Butte and Leona Lombard of Deer Lodge. “He is an awesome blessing from the Creator,” Leona said. Leo Michael Stafford |
