Angela Lynn Menicucci-Malmberg, June 17, 1967 – July 16, 2019.
This is the story of Angela (Angie) Menicucci-Malmberg.   Angie was a beautiful soul that was deeply loved, is terribly missed, and will always be cherished.   Our Angie was a dedicated wife, mom, daughter, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she knew.
Angie’s story starts on June 17, 1967, the fourth of five children to Louie, the 3rd and Belva Menicucci.   Angie was born in Butte, lived in Anaconda, and had a childhood filled to the brim with memories of the family cabin at Sunnyside, and of antics with her many siblings and cousins.
In 1981, the family moved to Deer Lodge to open the now famous and beloved bakery. Angie was a cornerstone to the success of the business as a clerk whose friendly, efficient, and warm way made an impression on anyone who wandered in for sweets. Her work behind the scenes also kept the shop running smoothly and seamlessly. The bakery was her pride and joy and she poured her love and dedication tirelessly into it.
Those lucky enough to know Angie knew she was someone very special indeed. She was the most selfless and genuine person around and she went out of her way to take care of anyone who needed extra love and attention.   Angie was generous to a fault with her love, forgiveness and possessions, teaching the people around her how others should be treated… not by words, but by actions.   It’s no wonder Angie loved pixies, because she left a sparkle wherever she went.
Angie enjoyed getting into the fresh air at a mountain lake and was a skilled fisherwoman. She was always up for a drive in the hills.   Angie never met an animal she didn’t love and they sensed it… proven by how they would flock to her.
We can all take comfort in knowing Angie has grasped the outstretched hands of her parents, Louie and Belva and then ran into the arms of her sister, Becky. The four of them are having a spectacular reunion and will wait patiently to reunite with every one of us. Among the loved ones that will miss Angie until they meet her again are Dirk, her husband of 31 years; son Preston (Trevor); daughter Brittany (Kurtis); sisters Dawn Wagner and Kim Jones (Dave); brother Louie IV;   sister   Ginny Menicucci (Steve Kremer); sister DeeDee Menicucci-Wolter (Brian); sister Susan Menicucci-Shimming (Jim).
A celebration of Angie’s life will be Sunday, July 28 at the Elk’s in Deer Lodge at 2 p.m. All are invited to come join us remember this beautiful woman.
