Donald Eugene Tangen
Donald Eugene Tangen, 60, joined his beloved parents on June 21, 2014. Don was born July 26, 1953 in Williston, N.D. to Eunice (Westin) and Orlando Tangen.
Don moved to Deer Lodge in 1966. Don was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He married Margaret Hughley on April 24, 1976. Don is survived by his wife of 38 years, his sons Edward (Jackie) Ayers, Robert Ayers, daughters Peggy (Jim) Nesbitt and Kristin (Jason) Rohling; seven grandchildren: Michael, Jessica (Clay), Cody, Brandon, Ryan, Simon, Nola; his brothers Richard (Deb) and Gregory. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donations can be made to PAWHS Animal Shelter, Deer Lodge. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 25, 4 p.m., at the family home, 1109 Washington St.

Wilma Evelyn Helgeson Young
Former Deer Lodge resident, Wilma Evelyn Helgeson Young, age 102, died October 27, 2013, at Richland Gardens, her home since 2003.  She was born November 14, 1911, in Fairdale, N.D. to Theodore and Ida (Overby) Helgeson.
Wilma graduated from Brainerd (Minnesota) High School and Brainerd Normal Training.  She taught school in the Crow Wing County, Minnesota School District.  She was married June 28, 1933, in Brainerd to Marshall E. Young, who died in June 1992.  They moved to Deer Lodge in 1950.  She moved to Richland, Wash. In 2003.
Wilma enjoyed her church, family, traveling, out-door activities, sports, camping and hunting with her husband.  She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Deer Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall; sisters, Margaret Oviatt, Helen Gold, Do Laumann and Betty Cervantes; brothers, Theodore, Forrest, Earl and Robert Helgeson, and grandson Tom Young.
She is survived by daughter, Judy Erath-Miller of Kennewick, Wash., and son, Duane (Nancy) of Hardin; grandchildren, Marty (Carey) Zoeteman of Dewey, Ariz., Ralph (Tara) of Richland, Wash.; Deb Shea and Kathy Jo (Scott) Kukes of San Antonio, Tex., Russel (Kari) of St. Ignatius; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
