![]() Arthur Emil Holm Arthur Emil Holm, age 95, of Deer Lodge, went to be with the Lord, on the morning of October 24, 2015, in the presence of his loving family, at the Deer Lodge Medical Center in Deer Lodge. Arthur was born on May 24, 1920, in Dickinson, N.D., and worked on the family farm until moving to Montana as a young man. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Emily Holm, whom he married in 1955. He is survived by his 12 children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arthur worked for the State of Montana at the Galen/Warm Springs facility, for 44 years. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, at the Avon Community Church, in Avon, where a potluck reception followed. Richard A. Johnson
Richard A. Johnson passed away at his home in Anaconda on Oct. 19, 2015. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Richard and Dorothy Johnson of Philipsburg. He is survived by three children, Kim, Vernon, and Marie and stepchildren Tracy and Aaron; four sisters, Peggy, Nancy, Clara and Lois; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Richard was a Vietnam era veteran, a sharpshooter in the Army, also serving in Germany. Richard was a hard rock miner, electrician, and a certified diesel mechanic working in mines in Montana, Idaho, and the oil fields in Prudoe Bay, Alaska. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed country western music. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Comments are closed.
